IGC Music Concert
인천글로벌캠퍼스 음악 콘서트
Tomorrow is the finally the day of the IGC Music Concert where our JICS Dance and Zumba team students will be performing! The concert is hosted by IGC’s University of Utah and Black Stone Labels and will start at 11 AM and end at 8 PM. Student performances will be from 1:00 - 1:15 PM. We would love to have families come join us at this event and we are so excited to see the performances our students have prepared!
내일은 드디어 인천글로벌캠퍼스 음악 콘서트에서 JICS 댄스팀과 줌바팀 학생들이 공연하는 날입니다! 이 콘서트는 인천글로벌캠퍼스의 유타대학교와 블랙스톤 레이블이 주최하며 11시에 시작하여 8시에 끝나게 됩니다. 우리 학생들의 공연은 오후 1시부터 1시 15분까지입니다. 가족 여러분과 함께 우리 학생들이 준비한 공연을 볼 수 있게되어서 매우 기쁩니다!

Fall 2023 Midterm Exam

As a reminder, the 2023 Fall Midterms are still continuing from Monday, November 6 to Wednesday, November 8. Please encourage your students to study over the weekend and make sure they are getting the rest they need. Getting a good night’s sleep each night is very important when preparing for exams and can help with memorization and concentration!
2023년 가을학기 중간고사는 11월 6일 월요일부터 11월 8일 수요일까지 계속됩니다. 학생들이 공부하도록 격려해주시고 충분한 휴식을 취할 수 있도록 해주세요. 매일 밤 숙면을 취하는 것은 시험을 공부하고 암기력과 집중력에 도움이 될 것입니다!

Health & Fitness Initiative: November Project
헬스 & 피트니스 도전: 11월 프로젝트
This month we will be promoting fitness and health by having students take home an exercise log which will contain various exercises students can choose from! Students will also be participating in physical activities at school to increase health (and for extra house points) with their homeroom teachers and classmates as well.
이번 달에 우리는 학생들이 선택한 다양한 운동을 포함하는 운동 일지를 집에 가져가도록 함으로써 건강 증진에 힘쓸 것입니다! 학생들은 자신의 담임선생님과 반 친구들과 함께 건강을 증진시키기 위해 학교에서 운동에 참여할 것입니다.

Annual Thanksgiving Potluck
연례 추수감사절 포틀럭
We will be holding our Annual Thanksgiving Potluck Event on November 23! This event is one of our most loved events by ALL our students and teachers.
The sign-up sheet with directions have been sent home with students. Please be sure to fill out the form and submit it to your child’s homeroom teacher by November 13.
연례 추수감사절 포틀럭 행사를 11월 23일에 열 예정입니다! 이 행사는 우리의 모든 학생들과 선생님들에게 가장 사랑 받는 행사 중 하나입니다.
포틀럭 진행방식이 적힌 신청서를 학생을 통하여 가정으로 전달해드릴 것 입니다. 신청서를 11월 13일까지 학생의 담임 선생님께 제출해주세요.
Sign-ups will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis. If there are too many sign-ups of the same time or dish, we may request parents to change!
신청은 선착순을 기준으로 하며, 같은 종류의 음식이나 요리에 너무 많은 신청이 있을시 부모님께 다른요리를 요청드릴 수 있습니다!

JICS Speech Competition
JICS 스피치 컴페티션
All JICS students (Pre-K through 12) will participate in the 2023 JICS Annual Speech Competition that is scheduled to take place on November 21-22. We are now in full preparation, as students have begun to select speeches and practice them with their homeroom, English/ELA, and ESL teachers.
모든 JICS 학생들 (Pre-K 부터 12학년 까지)은 11월 21-22일에 있을 2023년 JICS 연례 스피치 경연 대회에 참여하게 됩니다. 학생들은 담임선생님, 영어/ELA, 그리고 ESL 선생님들과 스피치를 선택 및 연습을 시작하였고 이에 만반의 준비를 하고 있습니다.
Parents are welcome to come watch students presenting their speeches on November 21. We encourage parents to come cheer and encourage our students as they have worked hard to prepare for this day. Just as a small reminder, please help us with encouraging the students through emphasis on their efforts, rather than on winning or losing.
학부모님들께서는 11월 21일날 학생들의 발표를 참관하실 수 있습니다. 우리 학생들이 이날을 위해 열심히 준비한 만큼 학부모님들께서 오셔서 응원해주시고 격려해주실 수 있습니다. 학생들이 대회의 승패보다는 자신의 노력을 더 중시할 수 있도록 함께 격려해주세요.

National Speech Competition
전국 스피치 대회
The National Speech Competition that our students will be competing in is set for Saturday, December 2nd. Our teachers and staff will be in attendance on this day to cheer for our students! The time and order of your child’s speech will be shared with us about 3 - 5 days before the competition date. As a reminder, this event is non-JICS affiliated so rides will not be provided.
우리 학생들이 참가하는 전국 스피치 대회가 12월 2일 토요일로 예정되어 있습니다. 우리 학생들을 응원하기 위해 선생님들이 함께 참석할 예정입니다! 시간과 순서는 대회 3~5일 전에 저희에게 공유될 것입니다. 이 행사는 JICS외부 행사임으로 차량은 제공되지 않습니다.
We were just notified that there are no available spots for December 2nd, but just one spot left for November 26th.
