2023년 JICS 크리스마스 공연

Great job to all of our students, teachers, and parent helpers who were able to make yesterday’s Christmas Performance possible! Thank you to all parents for coming out to cheer on the JICS Community. We hope you all enjoyed the Christmas Performance.

어제의 크리스마스 공연을 가능하게 해주신 우리 모든 학생들, 선생님들, 그리고 학부모 도우미 여러분 모두 수고 많으셨습니다! JICS 커뮤니티를 응원해주신 모든 학부모님들께 감사드리며, 모두 즐거운 크리스마스 공연이 되셨기를 바랍니다.

Monday Christmas Activity
월요일 크리스마스 활동

On Monday, December 18th all grade students will be participating in a special Christmas activity that requires them to bring their own ICING pen 데코펜 (2-4 of any color). This activity was specially gifted by Principal Ms. Mindy, who brought it over from her recent trip to America! Please don’t forget to send them to school with icing decorating pens! 

모든 학년의 학생들은 12월 18일 월요일에 크리스마스 활동을 위하여 아이싱 펜 (데코펜 아무 2~4색)을 가지고 와야합니다. 이 활동은 Ms.Mindy 교장선생님께서 미국에서 가져온 특별 선물로 진행하게 됩니다! 잊지말고 학생들과 아이싱펜을 보내주세요!

Minimum Days!

As a reminder, this upcoming Tuesday, December 19 is minimum day and there will be no after-school this day for winter break. Please don’t forget the schedule as follows:

Homeroom classes will be holding their very own Christmas Party this upcoming Monday, December 18 or Tuesday, December 19! Please check out the details down below for more information regarding your student’s class:

• 1st Grade (12/19): Snacks to share with class 반에서 나누어 먹을 간식

• 2A (12/18): Snacks/drinks if they’d like to bring 학생들이 원하는 간식/음료

December Spirit Days
12월 스피릿 데이

This upcoming Monday, December 18 and Tuesday, December 19 are our last two spirit days of the month of December! On Monday, wear Christmas colors like white, red, green, light blue OR dress like a winter character (ex. Santa, Snowman, Elf, etc.) and on Tuesday, wear your ugliest Christmas sweater! 

다가오는 12월 18일 월요일과 12월 19일 화요일은 이번달의 마지막 스피릿 데이 입니다! 월요일에는 학생들이 하양, 빨강, 초록, 하늘색과 같은 크리스마스 색상의 옷 또는 겨울 캐릭터(산타, 눈사람, 엘프 등)와 같이 입고와야합니다. 화요일은 못생긴 크리스마스 스웨터를 입는 날입니다!

As a reminder, parents are welcome to help students earn extra house points by submitting group family pictures with their families dressed up to our spirit days in the link below!

Winter Break
겨울 방학

Winter break is coming up on Wednesday, December 20 to Wednesday, January 3! We hope you have a great time spending the holidays with your families. 

겨울 방학은 12월 20일 수요일부터 1월 3일 수요일까지 입니다! 여러분 모두가 가족들과 함께 연휴를 보내며 즐거운 시간을 보내길 바랍니다.

All grade school students will be returning to school on Thursday, January 4! Kinder students will be returning on Wednesday, January 3.

모든 초중고 학생들은 1월 4일 목요일에 학교로 돌아옵니다! 모든 유치부 학생들은 1월 3일 수요일에 돌아오게됩니다.

Spring Tuition Regular Due Date
봄학기 등록금 납부일

As a reminder, the first deadline for the Spring 2024 Tuition payments starts this upcoming Wednesday, Dec 20 to Friday, Dec 22. We apologize for the delay in the Spring Tuition invoice, we will send out the printed version on Monday with our students.

2024년 봄학기 등록금 납부일이 다가오는 12월 20일 수요일부터 12월 22일 금요일까지 임을 재안내 드립니다. 인보이스는 월요일에 학생을 통해 전달해드리겠습니다, 인보이스 발송이 늦어져서 죄송합니다.

T-Shirt Design Competition Voting
티셔츠 디자인 공모전 투표

This is the last weekend for our JICS families to join us in voting for our 2023 JICS T-Shirt Design Competition!! 

이번 주말은 우리 JICS 가족 여러분이 2023년 JICS 티셔츠 디자인 공모전 투표에 참여할 수 있는 마지막 주말입니다!!

Students have been voting for their top 3 designs at school and we would love to have families join in as well, especially as some parents submitted designs as well! 

학생들은 이미 학교에서 상위 3개 디자인에 대한 투표를 하였고, 일부 학부모님께서도 디자인에 참여하셨기에 가족 여러분께서 투표에 참여하여주시기 바랍니다.

For each JICS student, up to 2 ADULTS may submit their top 3 votes. The last day to make a vote will be Monday, December 18 at 5:00 PM. 

JICS 학생 1인당 최대 2명의 성인이 상위 3표를 투표하실 수 있습니다. 투표는 12월 18일 월요일 오후 5시에 마감됩니다.

End of Fall Semester
가을학기 마지막 날

As a reminder, last day of the 2023 Fall Semester (grade school) is Friday, Feb 2, 2024! First day of Spring Semester (grade school) is Tuesday, Feb 6.

2023학년 초, 중, 고등학교의 가을학기 마지막 날은 2024년 2월 2일 금요일임을 재안내드립니다! 초, 중, 고등학교의 봄학기 시작일은 2월 6일입니다.

[3rd Grade] Weekly Challenges
[3학년] 주간 챌린지

This week’s challenge for our third-graders to obtain extra credit will be to create and write a Christmas card for friends and family using ‘cursive handwriting!’ Please send picture evidence of your students completing these challenges so that they may receive extra credit.

이번 주 우리 3학년 학생들의 추가 점수를 위한 챌린지는 ‘손글씨 쓰기’를 통하여 친구와 가족을 위한 크리스마스 카드를 만드는 것입니다! 학생들이 추가 점수를 받을 수 있도록 챌린지하는 모습을 사진 찍어 보내주세요.
