Baylor University x JICS Visit
Thank you to everybody who joined us in welcoming Baylor University to JICS today! It was such a meaningful event for both schools. The admissions director from Baylor University expressed such excitement in connecting with us, as he strongly felt that our values, mission, and approach in education truly aligned even more after visiting. We hope this event was valuable for all our parents and students who were able to attend today as well.
오늘 함께 JICS를 방문한 Baylor University를 환영하여주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다! 이 특별한 행사가 여러분의 자녀들에게 대학 입시와 해외 대학 생활이 어떤 모습인지에 대한 인사이트를 줄 수 있었고, 많은 걱정과 고민을 해결해주는 자리였습니다.

Parent Teacher Conference

Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) is coming up next week from Tuesday, March 19 - Friday, March 22! Please make sure to check your messages for the confirmed times.
*Friday, March 22 is also minimum day with no after-school classes to open up teachers’ schedules for PTC’s.
3월 19일 ~ 3월 22일로 예정되어 있는 학부모 상담회가 한주앞으로 다가왔습니다!
학교에서 발송해드리는 상담 시간을 꼭 확인해주세요.
Some teachers have back-to-back schedules for PTC’s so please make sure to come on time! Each conference will be stopped at exactly the 20 min mark.
몇몇 선생님들 께서는 연달아 일정이 있기에 꼭 정시에 와주시기 바랍니다! 각 면담은 정확히 20분 측정 후 종료됨을 알려드립니다.
Please understand that the PTC schedules are according to the availability of teachers’ schedules, so it is difficult to reschedule if missed or canceled.
PTC 일정은 선생님의 일정 상황에 따라 결정되므로 놓치시거나 취소될 시, 일정변경 또는 재예약이 어려운 점 양해해 주시기 바랍니다.

Our High School students had a blast on their off-campus PE excursion to rock climbing!! We are hoping to continue these types of experiences for our students both academically and to increase experience. Take a look!
[3rd Grade] Weekly Challenge
[3학년] 주간 챌린지
This week’s challenge for our third-graders to obtain extra credit will be to create an informational poster about ‘Childfund Korea’ on an A4 paper to show others when asking for sponsors/donations to friends and family. Please send picture evidence of your students completing these challenges so that they may receive extra credit.
이번 주 3학년 학생들의 추가 점수 도전과제는 A4 용지에 초록우산 어린이재단에 대한 안내 포스터를 만들어 친구와 가족에게 후원/기부를 요청할 때 다른 사람들에게 보여주는 것입니다. 학생들이 추가 점수를 받을 수 있도록 과제를 하고 있는 사진을 보내주세요.
