Reminder that our Charity Marathon is not tomorrow and was postponed! As we have sent out in the notice, we are postponing our Annual Charity Marathon to next Spring.

Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) is coming up next week Tuesday, October 24 - Friday, October 27! Please make sure to check your messages for the confirmed times.
10월 24일 ~ 10월 27일로 예정되어 있는 학부모 상담회가 한주 앞으로 다가왔습니다!
학교에서 발송해 드리는 상담 시간을 꼭 확인해 주세요.
Some teachers have back-to-back schedules for PTC’s so please make sure to come on time! Each conference will be stopped at exactly the 20 min mark.
몇몇 선생님들 께서는 연달아 일정이 있기에 꼭 정시에 와주시기 바랍니다! 각 면담은 정확히 20분 측정 후 종료됨을 알려드립니다.
Additionally, if you have ordered photos from ‘23 Spring Picture Day pictures we will be handing them out this day.

Preparation for Hallelujah Day
할렐루야 데이 준비
In preparation for our Hallelujah Day, we’re asking for each student to please bring in a bag of candy, chocolate, or goodies (it will be shared amongst students) by next Thursday, Oct 26.
할렐루야 데이를 위하여 10월 26일 목요일까지 모든 학생들 사탕, 초콜릿, 혹은 선물 (학생들이 서로 나누어줄 것입니다)을 준비하여 학교로 가져와주세요.
A reminder that our theme for this year is Games and Toys. We are looking forward to seeing all the games and characters students will come as!

Spring ‘24 Early Bird Tuition Request Due

As a reminder, request forms for the Early Bird Tuition were sent out with students last week. If you would like to request for an Early Bird Tuition for next Spring semester, please don’t forget to fill it out and turn it in by Monday, October 30.

Fall Midterms Exams
가을 학기 중간 고사
Fall Semester Midterm Exams are coming up on November 2-3 and November 6-8 for students in 4th grade and up! Teachers will begin reviewing materials for the exam soon, so please help encourage your students to study hard for their tests!
4학년부터 학생들은 11월 2~3일 그리고 6~8일에 가을학기 중간고사를 치룰 것 입니다! 선생님들께서 곧 시험 준비를 위한 복습 자료들을 준비해주실 것이니, 학생들이 시험을 잘 치룰 수 있게 격려와 응원해 주세요!
1-3rd grade students will not have midterms but will have cumulative review tests or chapter tests.
1~3학년 학생들은 중간 고사가 없으나 학기 중 지속적으로 리뷰 시험들과 단원 시험이 있습니다.

다가오는 전국 스피치 대회 자리가 이번에는 빠르게 채워지고 있습니다! 아래의 링크를 통하여 신청하실 수 있으며, 이 대회는 선택 사항이며 JICS 외부 행사입니다.

IGC Music Concert
인천글로벌캠퍼스 음악 콘서트
The University of Utah (IGC) and Black Stone Records Label have come together to put on a music concert on Saturday, Nov 4 at the IGC auditorium. This event will feature music performances, in which our JICS Zumba Team and JICS Dance Team was invited to perform! The event itself will run from 11 AM to 8 PM and student performances will be from 1 PM - 1:15 PM.
IGC의 유타 대학교와 블랙 스톤 레이블이 11월 4일 오전 11시부터 저녁 8시까지 IGC 강당에서 음악 콘서트를 개최합니다. 특별히 이번 콘서트에서 우리 JICS 줌바팀과 댄스팀이 초청을 받아 공연을 합니다! 콘서트 전체는 오전 11시부터 저녁 8시까지 진행이 되고, 우리 학생들의 공연은 오후 1시부터 1시 15분에 진행됩니다.
We would love for your families to come join us at the event, support our students, and have a good time!

SUNY Korea AMS Math Competition
뉴욕 주립대학교 AMS 수학 경시대회
On Saturday, November 11th, SUNY Korea is hosting the AMS Math Competition for high school students. Competition Levels include Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Probability (excluding Calculus). Registration is free until November 5th.
뉴욕 주립대가 주최하는 AMS 고등학생 수학 경시대회가 11월 11일 토요일날 개최됩니다. 시험 범위는 대수학, 삼각함수, 기하학, 확률 (미적분 제외) 이며 11월 5일까지 참가비는 무료입니다.
