History Fair is almost here!! Our 1st History Fair is 2 days away! We invite our parents to come view all the many exhibitions all of our grade school students have been preparing, and to come cheer them on.
히스토리 페어가 곧 다가옵니다!! JICS의 첫 번째 역사 박람회가 이틀 남았습니다! 우리 학생들이 준비한 전시 관람과 응원을 위해 모든 학부모님들을 초대합니다.

Date: Wednesday, January 22
Time: 10:00 AM (approx. 1 hour)
날짜: 1월 22일 수요일
시간: 오전 10시 (약 1시간 소요 예정)
This history fair is a culmination of the hard work all of our students have been diligently working on over the course of the semester, researching and doing a deep analysis on a historical topic of their choice for their team or individual history projects.
이번 역사 박람회는 우리 학생들 모두가 한 학기 동안 열심히 노력해 온 정점으로, 팀 또는 개인 프로젝트로 선택한 역사 주제에 대해 깊이 연구하고 분석하는 자리입니다.
For the parents of students who are signed up to compete in the NHD competition in February, we highly encourage you to come out and support your students presentation on this day as it will be a small preview of what to expect at the big competition.
2월에 열리는 NHD 대회에 참가신청한 학생들의 부모님들께서는, 큰 대회에서 활약할 학생들의 모습을 미리 엿볼 수 있는 날이오니

Starting this week until the end of the fall semester (Feb 6), high school students will be participating in yoga during their PE classes.
이번주 목요일부터 가을학기가 끝날 때까지 (2월 6일) 고등학생들은 체육시간에 요가 수업을 들을 예정입니다.
We kindly ask you to prepare a yoga mat for the class.
수업을 위해 요가매트를 준비해주시길 부탁드립니다.

As announced on our previous NOTW and January Monthly Newsletter, Principal Ms. Mindy is holding special counseling meetings for Jr. High students and their parents during this month of January.
지난 월간 뉴스레터에 알려드린바와 같이, 1월 한 달간 모든 중학교 학생들과 학부모님들과 Ms.Mindy 교장 선생님의 특별한 카운셀링 미팅을 진행하고 있습니다.
The meetings have been going a bit longer than initially planned, so for the parents and students who signed up, please be sure to take this into account!

As a reminder, with the new national make up holiday that was announced recently, there will be no school on Monday, January 27, 2025 for this makeup holiday.
최근 발표한 대체휴무일에 따라 2025년 1월 27일 월요일은 대체 공휴일로 학교를 쉽니다.
There will be no school for the Seol-lal holiday from Mon, Jan 27 ~ Thurs, Jan 30, 2025.

Please be reminded that Friday, January 31 is the last day of after-school classes for the Fall 2024 semester!

Final Exam week is just a few weeks away! From Monday, February 3 to the last day of the semester,
students in 4th grade and up will be taking their Final Exams to finish off the Fall semester!
기말고사가 몇 주 남지 않았습니다! 2월 3일 월요일부터 학기의 마지막날까지는 F24 학기 기말고사 기간입니다.
4학년 이상 학생들은 가을학기를 마무리하기 위해 기말고사를 치를 예정입니다!

The flu and/or other illnesses have severely been spreading as we entered the new 2025 year. We ask that if your child(s) are experiencing any symptoms, to please advise them to wear a mask at school.
2025년 새해를 맞이하면서 독감 및/또는 기타 질병이 심각하게 확산되고 있습니다. 자녀에게 증상이 있는 경우 학교에서 마스크를 착용하도록 조언해 주시기 바랍니다.
If your child needs to take any medications during school hours, please be sure to let the school office know and to guide your child to bring his/her medication into the office.
자녀가 등교 시간에 약을 복용해야 하는 경우 학교 사무실에 반드시 알리고 자녀가 약을 사무실로 가져올 수 있도록 안내해주시길 바랍니다.
