JICS Annual Thanksgiving Potluck 추수감사절 포트럭

Once again, thank you to all of our amazing parents for helping us to have such a successful 2024 Thanksgiving Potluck! Some parents had delicious dishes delivered, some slaved over the kitchen for hours to treat our student to homemade food, and some ordered from specialty restaurants! It is an event that is not possible without the love and dedication of our parents, and we cannot thank you enough for making this annual event possible!!
다시한번, 2024년 추수감사절 포트럭을 성곡적으로 개최할 수 있도록 도와주신 학부모님들께 감사드립니다. 어떤 부모님들은 배달요리를, 어떤 부모님들은 집에서 정성스레 만든 요리를, 전문레스토랑에서 주문하여 보내주셨습니다. 여러 학부모님들의 사랑과 헌신없이는 이루어 질 수 없기에 매년 특별한 행사를 가능케 하여 주셔서 너무 감사 드립니다.!!

We will be holding an important meeting on Monday, December 9 for all JICS parents. We ask for as many parents to attend as possible, as we will be sharing vital information and upcoming updates that we have been working on for over a semester. Please let us know if you are able to make it.

We are in full gear to prepare for the Christmas Performance! Many students have already brought their necessary materials, but in the case that there is any confusion, please refer to this list for the required materials/ outfits!

[Jr high & High] counseling meeting 카운셀링 미팅

Principal Ms. Mindy will be conducting 1:1 College Counseling meetings for Jr. High and High School students and their families in January when we return from winter break. Please be sure to be on the lookout for the schedule sign up link in the next newsletter and NOTW so that your child and family is able to select the best date/time to attend this vital meeting.
Ms. Mindy 교장선생님께서 직접 진행하시는 JR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL 학생및 학부모 대상 1:1 컬리지 카운셀링 미팅은 겨울방학이 끝나고 개학 후 2025년 1월에 이루어 질 예정입니다. 신청을 위해 1월 NOTW 뉴스레터에 안내되는 링크를 참고하시어, 중요한 미팅인 만큼 희망하시는 날짜를 신청하 실 수 있도록 작성하여 주시면 됩니다.

UPCOMING MINIMUM DAYS 단축 수업 일정

As a reminder, our upcoming minimum days this month is next Friday, December 13th and Thursday, December 19th.
There is also no after-school on December 12, 13th for the Christmas Performance, and on December 19th for Winter Break.
이번달 단축수업 일정은 차주 12월 13일 (금) 그리고 12월 19일(목) 입니다.
또한 크리스마스 공연 당일인 12일 12일(목), 12월 13일(금)은 단축수업 일정, 12월 19일(목) 겨울방학 이전일로 방과 후 수업이 진행 되지 않습니다.

DECEMBER SPIRIT DAYS 12월 스피릿 데이

During the month of December, we have special spirit days every week to help everyone fully get into the Christmas Spirit! Please see below for the Spirit Day schedule and help your students to participate in the festivities.
We would also like to invite all of our families to participate in our December Spirit Days! Parents and/or students may submit group family pictures with their families dressed up to our spirit days in the link below. Students who submit will receive 50 house points (each picture) for his/her house!
12월 한달 동안 모두 크리스마스 분위기에 완전히 빠질 수 잇도록 매주 특별한 스피릿 데이가 진행됩니다.
스프릿 데이 일정을 확인하시어 학생들이 축제에 참여할 수 있도록 도와 주시기 바랍니다. 또한 12월 스피릿 데이에 온가족 분들을 초대하고자 합니다. 학부모님들과 우리 친구들이 스피릿 데이에 맞게 의상을 차려입고 찍은 사진들을 아래 안내 링크로 제출하실 수 있습니다. 사진을 제출한 학생은 각 가정에 한하여 50포인트를 받게 됩니다.

EXPERIENCE THE UAC DAY
패션 프로젝트 팀 크리스마스 이벤트

The University of Utah is putting on their bi-annual “Experience the UAC Day” and have invited our students to attend and experience what it’s like to be a college student and receive a small introductory lecture from their professors and academic programs on December 7.

12월 7일에 Utah대학은 2년마다 “UAC 대학 경험하기 날” 을 두어 학생들을 초대합니다. 이 날 학생들은 대학생활은 어떠한지 엿볼 수 있을 뿐더러 유타대학 교수님들과 학과 과정들을 알아 가는 입문강의를 받게 됩니다.
