Some teachers have back-to-back schedules for PTC’s so please make sure to come on time! Each conference will be stopped at exactly the 20 min mark.
몇몇 선생님들 께서는 연달아 일정이 있기에 꼭 정시에 와주시기 바랍니다! 각 면담은 정확히 20분 측정 후 종료됨을 알려드립니다.
** As a reminder, Friday, October 25 is a minimum day to give teachers more availability in their schedules to meet with parents.
**다시 한 번 안내드리면, 10월 25일 금요일은 교사들이 학부모님들과 만날 수 있는 시간을 더 확보하기 위해 단축 수업일입니다.
Spring '25 Early Bird Tuition Due Date
2025년 봄 학기 얼리버드 등록금 마감일
If you have requested an Early Bird Tuition for the ‘25 Spring semester, the early bird payment due date is October 25, 2024.
2025년 봄 학기에 대한 얼리버드 등록금을 신청하신 경우, 얼리버드 등록금 납부 기한은 2024년 10월 25일입니다.
Invoices will be sent out on Wednesday, October 16 by email and a physical copy through the student.
인보이스는 10월 16일 수요일에 이메일과 학생을 통하여 발송될 것입니다.

Preparations for our JICS Annual Speech Competition began last week!
JICS 연례 연설 대회 준비가 지난 주 부터에 시작되었습니다!
Our Elementary-grade students have selected their speeches for the upcoming competition last week with their homeroom and English teachers.
Please be sure to help your child practice at home!

Jr. High & High School students are currently writing their own speeches for the Speech Competitions in their English classes, with the support and guidance of their teachers

Preparation for Hallelujah Day
할렐루야 데이 준비
In preparation for our Hallelujah Day, we’re asking for each student to please bring in a bag of candy, chocolate, or goodies (it will be shared amongst students) by next Friday, Oct 25.
할렐루야 데이를 위하여 모든 학생들은 초콜릿, 사탕 등등 (모두 섞여 모든 전교생에게 나누어질 것입니다) 1봉지를 준비하여 학교로 10월 25일 금요일까지 가져와주세요.

Some guidelines to follow for costumes:
할렐루야 데이 코스튬을 위해 따라야 할 규칙들입니다:
No scary, violent, bloody, or horror-related costumes allowed
No costumes that imply evil, haunted, death
Refrain from dressing up as a “villain”
No Satan, Devil, or ghost-related behavior or costumes
No pranks that hurt others or themselves
무섭거나, 폭력적이거나, 피가 나는, 또는 공포와 관련된 코스튬은 허용되지 않습니다.
악,유령,죽음을 암시하는 의상 금지
의상의 일부로 무기를 사용할 수 없습니다
'악당' 복장 자제
사탄, 악마 또는 유령과 관련된 행동이나 의상 금지
다른 사람이나 자신을 해치는 장난 금지
Some examples for student costumes: Storybook characters (Robin Hood, Little Red Riding Hood, Disney & Princesses (ex. Rapunzel, Pinocchio, Snow White, etc.)
코스튬 예시로는: 동화 속 캐릭터 ( 로빈 후드, 빨간 망토 소녀, 디즈니 & 공주 (예: 라푼젤, 피노키오, 백설공주 등등)

Labeling Items
물품 이름표 작성
As the weather is getting colder and students are coming to school with more jackets, we ask that all students’ outerwear are labeled with their first and last initial! Please be sure to double check that this is done, so lost items can find its way back to its owner!
날씨가 추워지면서 학생들이 더 많은 외투를 가져오고 있어, 모든 외투에 학생의 성과 이름 이니셜을 꼭 적어주시기 바랍니다. 분실된 물품이 주인에게 돌아갈 수 있도록 이 부분을 다시 한번 확인해 주세요!
