Parent Teacher Conference (PTC) time slot sign-ups will be sent out to parent at the end of this week! The actual dates of PTC’s are Monday, October 21 ~ Friday, October 25!
학부모 상담회 신청서가 이번주 말에 발송될 예정입니다! PTC 상담 주는 10월 21일 월요일부터 10월 25일 금요일입니다.
This will be a time for parents to have an opportunity to sit down 1:1 with their child’s homeroom teacher to discuss how he/she is doing in his/her academics and school life.
이 시간은 학생의 담임 선생님과 학부모님이 1 대 1로 학생의 학교 생활에 대해 대화를 나눌 수 있는 시간입니다.
Please be sure to submit the appropriate link for your child (keep in mind, the available days and times differ depending on your child’s homeroom teacher!
자녀에 해당하는 링크를 꼭 제출해 주세요. 자녀의 담임 선생님에 따라 가능한 날짜와 시간이 다를 수 있으니 참고해 주세요.
*Reminder: Friday, October 25 is minimum day to provide more time to teachers to hold PTC’s.
리마인더: 10월 25일 금요일은 교사들의 학부모 상담 시간을 위해 단축 수업일로 진행됩니다.

Preparations for our JICS Annual Speech Competition begins this week!
JICS 연례 연설 대회 준비가 이번 주에 시작됩니다!
Our Elementary-grade students will be selecting their speeches for the upcoming competition this week with their homeroom and English teachers. Please be sure to help your child practice at home!
초등 학년 학생들은 담임 선생님과 영어 선생님들과 함께 대회를 위한 연설을이번주에 선택할 것입니다. 아이가 집에서 연습할 수 있도록 꼭 도와주세요!
Jr. High & High School students will be writing their own speeches this year for the Speech Competitions in their English classes, with the help and guidance of their teachers!

As a reminder, here are some guidelines to follow for costumes:

No scary, violent, bloody, or horror-related costumes allowed
No costumes that imply evil, haunted, death
Refrain from dressing up as a “villain”
No Satan, Devil, or ghost-related behavior or costumes
No pranks that hurt others or themselves
무섭거나, 폭력적이거나, 피가 나는, 또는 공포와 관련된 코스튬은 허용되지 않습니다.
악,유령,죽음을 암시하는 의상 금지
의상의 일부로 무기를 사용할 수 없습니다
'악당' 복장 자제
사탄, 악마 또는 유령과 관련된 행동이나 의상 금지
다른 사람이나 자신을 해치는 장난 금지
Some examples for student costumes: Storybook characters (Robin Hood, Little Red Riding Hood, Disney & Princesses (ex. Rapunzel, Pinocchio, Snow White, etc.)
코스튬 예시로는: 동화 속 캐릭터 ( 로빈 후드, 빨간 망토 소녀, 디즈니 & 공주 (예: 라푼젤, 피노키오, 백설공주 등등)
