NEW JICS PARENT-SCHOOL ASSOCIATION 학부모-학교 협회
We are taking nominations for our first JICS Parent-School Association (PSA) for the 2024-25 school year!
We hope to bring together like-minded parents who desire to unite and collaborate with the school to work towards our #1 goal of providing a better and more successful school community for our families, teachers, and most importantly above all, our students. With positivity, open minds, and a desire to collaborate, we aim to come together as one to continue lifting up and supporting our students, all while increasing parent-school-teacher relations!

Quickschools 퀵스쿨
All parents and students were invited and have access to Quickschools. Students will go over how to use the school system in their computer classes, along with making sure that each student is able to log on properly. Parents who have any difficulty with using the platform or have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at any time!

[1-4th Grade] Music Class [1~4학년] 음악수업
1-4th Grade students have their music (violin) classes every Tuesday’s and Friday’s, along with the Orchestra Team meeting on Friday’s. Please be sure to have your student bring their instruments on the appropriate days!
Students are welcome to leave their instruments in the music classroom if they wish to leave it at school. The music classroom will remain locked after school hours.
1~4학년 학생들은 매주 화요일, 금요일에 음악(바이올린) 수업을 듣고, 금요일에는 오케스트라 팀만의 모임이 있습니다. 올바른 날짜에 학생들이 악기를 가져올 수 있도록 해주세요.
학생들이 학교에 악기를 두고 가길 원하는 경우, 언제든지 음악실에 악기를 두고 갈 수 있습니다. 학교 캠퍼스 시간 이외에는 음악실 문은 잠겨집니다.
JICS Spirit Day 첫번째 스피릿데이
Our 1st Spirit Day of the semester will be this Friday, September 13!
Theme: Korean Culture! (Hanbok, food, or something that represents the Korean culture)
가을학기의 첫 스피릿데이는 이번 주 금요일인 9월 13일입니다!
테마: 한국의 문화! (한복, 한식, 한국을 나타내는 그 어떤 것!)
The next Spirit Day of the semester will be on Friday, September 27!
Theme: show your school and House spirit, please come in the color of your house!
다음 스피릿 데이는 9월 27일 금요일 입니다!
테마: 학교와 하우스 스피릿을 보여주기 위해 각 하우스 색깔로 옷을 맞춰입고 오세요!
All students know which JICS House they are designated and what color their House Color is! Elementary students were sent home with a “First Day of School” sheet for their parents noting this as well.
모든 학생들은 자신의 하우스와 하우스컬러가 무엇인지 알고 있습니다! 모든 초등학생 들은 학부모님들을 위해 "First Day of School" 종이를 학생들 편에 보내드렸습니다.
Chuseok Holiday 추석연휴
As a reminder, there is no school for Chuseok Holiday on Monday, Sept 16 - Wednesday, Sept 18! All students will return on Thursday, Sept 19!
다시 한번 말씀드립니다, 9월 16일 월요일 - 9월 18일 수요일까지 학교는 추석 휴교일 입니다. 모든 학생들은 9월 19일 목요일에 돌아오게 됩니다.
