As a reminder, today is the last day to make a payment for the Fall 2024 Early Bird tuition. Invoices were sent on Monday, April 15. (*Note: late payments will not be accepted)

Carnival invitations have been sent home today with students and we will begin selling carnival money next week. We cannot wait for this year’s Carnival as we will also celebrate 10 YEARS OF JICS!! We hope you are all excited ~

In celebration of all our JICS teachers and all they do, we invite you to shower your teachers with love on this day! It is definitely not mandatory to participate, but if you would like to gift your teachers or have students write a card, it would be a great time to express thanks for all the dedication and heart they put into not only our students’ educations but into their wellbeing.
모든 JICS 선생님들 축하하고 감사할 수 있는 날에 여러분을 초대합니다! 반드시 참여해야 하는 것은 아니지만, 만약 학생이 선생님들께 선물을 드리고 싶거나 편지를 전달해드린다면, 우리 학생들의 교육뿐만 아니라 학생들의 행복을 위해 선생님들께서 쏟으시는 모든 헌신과 마음에 감사를 표할 수 있는 좋은 시간이 될 것입니다.

Spring 2024 MAP Test
2024 봄학기 MAP 시험
Our Spring 2024 MAP Exams are coming close!
날짜를 기억해주세요!
Tests will begin on Tuesday, May 21, and will go until Friday, May 24. All 1st through high school students are required to participate in this exam. They will need a laptop or iPad (with keyboard) in order to take the exams.
1학년부터 고등학생까지 모든 학생은 2024 봄학기 MAP 시험을 5월 21일 화요일에 시작하여 5월 24일 금요일까지 보게됩니다. 시험을 치르기 위해 노트북이나 아이패드 (키보드 필수)을 필수로 가지고 와야합니다.
Please note: Galaxy/Samsung/Chrome Tablets do not work! Only iPads or Laptops
참고: 갤럭시/삼성/크롬 태블릿은 시험을 볼 수 없습니다! 아이패드 또는 노트북만 가능합니다.

IGC’S University of Utah has invited our JICS students to Experience the UAC Day! Experience the UAC Day (EXP+UAC Day) is designed to allow prospective students and their families to truly experience student life by participating in a series of mini-sample lectures.
IGC 유타 대학교에서 JICS 학생들을 UAC 데이 체험에 초대했습니다! UAC 체험 데이 (EXP + UAC 데이)는 예비 학생들과 그 가족이 작은 샘플 강의에 참석하여 진정한 학생 생활을 경험할 수 있도록 고안되었습니다.

[3rd Grade] Weekly Challenge
[3학년] 주간 챌린지
This week’s challenge for our third-graders to obtain extra credit will be to create a 3-day travel itinerary for an imaginary friend who has never been to Korea! They will need to include pictures of drawings of things or places they would like for their friend to experience. This will be due May 21st. Please send picture evidence of your students completing these challenges so that they may receive extra credit.
이번 주 3학년 학생들의 추가 점수 도전과제는 한국에 한번도 와본적이 없는 상상 속의 친구를 위한 3일간의 한국 여행 일정을 짜는 것입니다! 또한, 함께 방문하고 싶은 곳의 장소나 경험하고 싶은 것을 그림으로 그려야합니다. 학생들이 추가 점수를 받을 수 있도록 과제를 하고 있는 사진을 보내주세요.
