Dear Parents,
I just want to say a quick but deep thank you to all our dear students and parents for making this year’s Teachers’ Appreciation Day (last week) such a memorable one for all our teachers and staff at Troy!
There are no doubts when it comes to the love all of our teachers and staff have for our students, but it was a day where they were able to be poured onto and deeply celebrated. The love our students have for their teachers is evident in their day-to-day interactions, but it was even more moving to see that love come out in action, with every single student showing such excitement to wish their teacher a happy teacher’s day.
From students pinning their teachers with flower-pins that they each created and designed during art class (with their names), to students setting up their classrooms to surprise their teachers, many teachers shared tears, laughs, and many, many treats with the students they treasure so dearly. Every teacher at Troy proudly wore their flower-pins on their tops to represent their students all throughout Teachers’ Appreciation Day and some even until the day after.
We thank you all for trusting us with your most precious young ones. We hope you know that all of the teachers and staff here at Troy genuinely desire the best for each and every one of our students, to find confidence, happiness, and success, both in and outside the classroom. And there is no question on how much they would pour out to support them in that process.
I also want to say a quick welcome back, to our class of 2025 5th and 8th grade graduates who just returned from their graduation trip to Tokyo, Japan!! They had such a fun, yet meaningful trip

지난 주에 열린 올해 스승의 날을 트로이의 모든 교사와 직원들에게 기억에 남는 날로 만들어 주신 소중한 학생들과 학부모 여러분께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다!
모든 교사와 직원들이 학생들을 사랑하는 마음에는 의심의 여지가 없지만, 학생들에게 더욱 쏟아붓고 깊이 축하할 수 있는 날이었습니다. 학생들이 선생님을 사랑하는 마음은 일상적인 교류에서 잘 드러나지만, 학생 한 명 한 명이 선생님의 행복한 하루를 기원하는 등 사랑을 실천에 옮기는 모습이 더욱 감동적이었습니다.
학생들이 미술 수업 중에 각자 만들고 디자인한 꽃핀(이름이 적힌)을 선생님께 꽂아드리는 것 부터 선생님들을 놀라게 하기 위해 교실을 마련하는 것까지, 많은 선생님들이 눈물과 웃음, 그리고 소중한 학생들과 많은 선물을 나누었습니다. 트로이의 모든 선생님들은 스승의 날 내내 그리고 그 다음 날까지도 학생들을 대표하기 위해 자랑스럽게 꽃핀을 상의에 달고 다녔습니다.
가장 소중한 아이들을 저희에게 믿고 맡겨주신 모든 학부모님들께 감사드립니다. 트로이의 모든 교사와 직원들은 교실 안팎에서 학생 개개인이 자신감과 행복, 성공을 찾을 수 있도록 진심으로 최선을 다하고 있다는 것을 알아주셨으면 합니다. 그 과정에서 학생들을 지원하기 위해 얼마나 많은 노력을 기울일 것인지에 대해서는 의심의 여지가 없습니다.
일본 도쿄로 졸업 여행을 마치고 돌아온 2025년 5, 8학년 졸업생 여러분께도 환영의 인사를 전합니다! 아주 즐겁고 의미있는 여행이 되었다고 합니다.
선생님들께 사랑을 쏟아주셔서 다시 한 번 감사드립니다.

SPRING SEMESTER MAP TEST 봄학기 맵테스트
Our Spring semester MAP test startd TODAY for grade school (May 20 to 22, 23). Most grade will end on the 22nd unless there is make-up exams that needs to be done.
NECESSARY MATERIALS 필요 준비물
All G1~12 students will need a laptop or iPad (with keyboard) in order to take the exams.
모든 G1~12 학년 학생들은 시험을 위해 노트북(컴퓨터) 아이패드 (키보드 포함) 가 필요합니다.
G1 needs earphones/headphones! Please no blue tooth.

If the device has a passcode, please provide it on a sticky note and attach it to the device.

TROY CARNIVAL 트로이 카니발
Our most beloved and biggest event of our school - our Annual Carnival is next Friday!! And first carnival at our new TROY CAMPUS!
우리 학교에서 가장 사랑받고 가장 큰 행사인 연례 카니발이 다음 주 금요일에 열립니다!! 그리고 새로운 트로이 캠퍼스에서 열리는 첫 번째 카니발입니다!Carnival Invitations were sent home with students today, along with a small gift included in the envelope from the school for each student.

The University of Utah has invited our Troy students to attend their “Discover the Utah Asia Campus Day” event this upcoming Saturday, May 24, 2025! This event is a great way for students to not only get a preview of what lectures from university professors are like and the variety of majors that are offered, but to also experience what college life is like.
유타 대학교는 다가오는 2025년 5월 24일 토요일에 트로이 학생들을 "유타 아시아 캠퍼스 데이를 위한 DIscover" 행사에 초대했습니다! 이 행사는 학생들이 대학 교수들의 강의가 어떤지, 제공되는 다양한 전공에 대해 미리 볼 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 대학 생활이 어떤지 체험할 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다.Academics Sessions of these specific majors will be held, along with different club/ department booths for students to be able to experience:

All of our students and family members have been invited to the Incheon Artist Collective Art Showcase "Between the Lines," which will be held at IGC until 05/23 (Friday)! Our Troy art teacher, Ms. Hana, is a member of the Incheon Artist Collective and will display her work with various artists.
05/23 (금요일)까지 IGC 에서 열리는 인천 아티스트 콜렉티브 아트 쇼케이스 “Between the Lines”에 우리 학생들과 가족 모두가 초대되었습니다! 우리 Troy 의 미술 선생님, Ms. Hana 선생님은 인천 아티스트 콜렉티브의 회원이시며 다양한 예술가들과 함께 작품을 전시하실 예정입니다.

As a reminder, there will be no school on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 for the new national holiday that was added as a voting holiday.

Our 2025 Troy Summer Camp will be the first at our new campus! Filled with fun, excitement, and new experiences, our summer camp sessions will run on the following dates, along with specialty programs for select high school levels:

School Entrance Gate 학교 출입구 차단바에 관하여
Starting from May, for the safety of students and our families, we will be closing our campus Entrance Gate at all times except during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.
5월부터 학생들과 가족들의 안전을 위해 등하교 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간에는 차량 차단바를 내리고 있도록 하겠습니다.If you are visiting the campus at anytime other than drop off and pick up, please press the call button next to the entrance gate, and we will open it for you!!
